About Our Classes

Classes & Practice

What do I need to bring to class?

Just bring a towel, a water bottle, and non-slip grip socks! We’ve got everything else covered for class.

What is reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates uses a spring-loaded machine called a reformer to create resistance during exercises. It builds strength, improves flexibility, and develops core stability through controlled, low-impact movements.

What is the difference between reformer and mat Pilates?

Reformer classes use the Pilates reformer machine for resistance-based exercises, while mat classes use your bodyweight. Both build functional strength and core stability, just through different approaches. We recommend trying both.

I've never done Pilates before. Can I still come?

Absolutely. Every class at Reform welcomes all experience levels. Our instructors provide modifications throughout every class so you can work at your own pace. No experience necessary; just show up.

How often should I come?

We recommend 2–3 classes per week for the best results, but even once a week will make a difference. Consistency matters more than frequency.

Is Pilates safe during pregnancy or postpartum?

Pilates can be a wonderful option during pregnancy and postpartum recovery, but we always recommend getting clearance from your doctor first. Our instructors are experienced with modifications for pre- and postnatal clients.

What should I wear?

Comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move freely. Form-fitting is generally better so your instructor can see your alignment. Avoid zippers or buckles that could catch on the equipment.

Booking & Membership

Scheduling & Plans

How do I book a class?

All classes are booked through our online scheduling system powered by Momence. You can book directly from our website or through the Momence app. We recommend booking in advance as classes do fill up.

What is the commitment period for memberships?

Memberships have a 3-month auto-renewing commitment upon sign up and will continue on a month-to-month basis thereafter.

What's the cancellation policy for classes?

It’s important for our members and our instructors to have our classes accurately booked. We don’t want anyone to lose out on attending a class due to late cancellations! If you have a monthly membership and cancel within 12-hours of class or don’t show, you’ll be charged a $15 cancellation fee. For class packs, you will lose a credit. To cancel your class on time, please visit your booking page and remove yourself from the class.

What is the cancellation policy for memberships?

Please contact us at hello@reformmodernpilates.com to request a cancellation or a freeze on your account. The request should be made 30 days prior to membership renewal to avoid a monthly charge. Requests made within the 30-day window will have one final charge for the upcoming month before cancellation or freeze goes into effect.

What is your sales policy?

All memberships, class packs and items purchased in studio are final. A valid credit card must be stored on file for memberships and will auto-renew on a monthly basis.

Which membership is right for me?

If you’re planning to come regularly, our monthly memberships offer the best value. 4 classes for once a week, 8 for twice a week, unlimited for full flexibility. Class packs are great for unpredictable schedules.

Do you offer a first-time visitor rate?

Yes! Check our pricing page or reach out to us directly for current introductory offers.

What happens if a class I want to attend is full?

If you see a class you’d like to attend but it’s full, please feel free to join our waitlist! If you are on the waitlist and are no longer able to join, you can remove yourself from the waitlist. Once you’ve gotten into class from the waitlist, we are excited to see you! If you don’t arrive, it is treated as a no-show.
